James E. Daniels, Founder/Broker

The founder of Daniels Property Management and 40+ year San Diego resident knows the community, the people, and the market which has made his company the long running success it is today. His ties to the community and his pride in creating long lasting personal relationships are at the heart of how we do business. His accounting degree and long real estate career as broker, instructor, court appointed receiver, expert witness and property manager bring the foundation of knowledge and expertise to Daniels Property Management. This family man, volunteer, Vietnam Vet, and lover of dogs can be found on hikes with his grandkids, volunteering at the Olaf Wieghorst Museum, or revving up the RV when not in the office.

Jamie Daniels, VP/Broker

This next generation of Daniels focuses on bringing together our company foundation of personal service, quick response, and hands on management with modern technology for today’s upwardly mobile Owners and Tenants. Evaluating your properties performance, assessing short and long term goals, and problem solving are just some of the strengths Jamie brings to the team. Mother of two, married to Sarah, greyhound owner, and San Diego native, Jamie looks forward to meeting you and finding out how we can best meet your needs.

Lila Daniels, CFO

The backbone of good management starts with top notch accounting principles. Her early career with the largest accounting firm in San Diego prepared her for the establishment of the practices used in our office today. We prioritize the management and accounting of your properties finances and you'll find our reporting to go above and beyond. When not overseeing the complications of payroll and trust account reconciliation you can find this sun lover on the golf course. 

Faustina Santos, Property Manager and Tenant Relations Specialist

At the end of the day, the heart of property management is tenant relations.  From the first phone call that is answered with a friendly and professional voice, to efficient responses to maintenance requests, how a tenant is treated often relates to how long they stay and how well they treat your income property.  Faustina is our star in property management and tenant relations.





Chelsea Ruiz, Resident Manager

Another San Diego native, Chelsea is the newest addition to our team and we're thrilled to have her.  Onsite property management may be the most challenging aspect for a property management company.  Chelsea is able to respond swiftly with poise and professionalism to all tenant concerns.  Compliance with the Fair Housing and Employment Act (FEHA) and full knowledge of Tenant Landlord Law are her specialty.
